My artistic practice is rooted in landscape painting, inspired by the sea, mountains, and forests and also human relationships. I perceive nature as something sacred and inexhaustible, and my work grows from a sense of reverence toward it. I create paintings in both large and small formats, working in what I describe as New Impressionism — a contemporary continuation of impressionist sensitivity combined with personal intuition and freedom of expression.
A central theme in my work is the spiritual connection between human beings and nature, as well as the invisible bonds that exist between people themselves. I am interested not only in the external beauty of the natural world, but also in its inner resonance — the way it mirrors emotional states, silence, movement, and contemplation.
I was born into an artistic family; both of my parents were artists. Art has been a constant presence in my life, sometimes more intense, sometimes quieter, but always essential. For me, art is not only a profession — it is a way of living and a source of deep enjoyment.
I value experimentation and allow myself to explore different approaches, yet overall I consider my style to be contemporary impressionism. I work in a small studio where I paint every morning — the hours when my focus and creativity are at their peak. I have experimented with various materials, but my primary medium remains oil on canvas.
I do not seek complete clarity or finality in my paintings. Even my landscapes often appear intentionally unfinished. I believe that art should leave space for imagination, inviting the viewer to complete the image internally and enter into a personal dialogue with the work.
