My practice moves fluidly across disciplines, guided less by medium than by the themes that compel me. I am drawn to subjects rooted in unsettlement, fear, the unknown, mystery, and wonder. 

Astronauts, monsters, and ghostly figures often appear in my work, sometimes through painting, sometimes through photographic processes like rayograph, or through costumes that balance the uncanny with the absurd.

I like to embrace contradictions: using bright, cheerful colours to explore unsettling ideas, or combining geological forces like volcanoes with improbable hues that question the boundary between life and death. History and archaeology also feed into my work, fragments unearthed, ancient busts, and artifacts of worship, all of which speak to the mysteries buried beneath the surface.

Ultimately, my practice is a search for forms that evoke both curiosity and unease, where playful aesthetics coexist with deeper reflections on what lies beyond the visible.

I graduated in 2000 from the Academy of Art in Venice, where I studied multidisciplinary fineart and primarily expressed myself through installations over five years of study. During my time at the Academy, I participated in several group exhibitions in Venice and Spain. 

I was subsequently selected to exhibit at the Venice Sculpture Biennale for youg artists alongside artists from Luxembourg, France, and Spain, where I was awarded a scholarship.

This scholarship allowed me to participate in an exchange program at Middlesex University in London, where I studied sculpture for one year. After completing my studies in Venice, I decided to settle in London to pursue and develop my art practice. The high cost of living initially required me to focus on other creative jobs, which temporarily limited my ability to work full-time as an artist.

The experience of living in London, coupled with the disruptions of the Covid pandemic, eventually gave me the freedom and clarity to dedicate myself fully to my art. In 2025, I was selected for the Turps Banana program, where I focused primarily on painting. Since then, I have participated in group exhibitions in London and Venice.
