Since Covid I started painting on postcards. It is an ongoing project that lead me to revisit over 700 postcards that are part of my life history : my travels, art history, visits to museums, cards received. The idea is to give a second life to these old postcards, sometimes boring or faded, to create new images, create beauty as a curio. Beauty will save the world. These small cards save me, they matter to me. I selected 3 as part of my Belgitude, living in Belgium for the last 35 years, I would like to pay tribute to some symbols.
