It's about the small, fragile elements of nature that enrich our lives and environment. As you look at it, you feel like you are peering into a deep pool or at a patch of foliage in a shady corner of the woods.

I was walking round our garden on a warm summer day when I came across this beautiful plant that had set itself in an overlooked corner. Called Red-Osier Dogwood, it is native to North America. Nevertheless it seems to feel at home in our garden in Belgium. I love how nature thrives when given a little space. Small finds like this bring me great pleasure, and the Gelli print I made of the plant has a fresh, leafy appeal.
